This is a softcover book with 192 full color pages that contains more than 160 color illustrations.
This book is dedicated to the famous Massier family on from Vallauris, creators of decorative
ceramics and majolica on the Cote d'Azur during the second half of the 19th century
with the founder Jacques Massier (1806-1871), then the second generation with
Clement Massier (1844-1917) in Golfe-Juan, Delphin Massier (1836-1907) in Vallauris
and Jerome Massier (1850-1916) in Vallauris and finally Cedric Massier.
Through the technical innovations and the revival of the decorative forms from pottery, sandstone and majolica,
inspired by the Art-Nouveau style of the end of the 19th century, they follow the orientations of their period
often in the forefront by associating collaborators of great renown.
